Villabassa, in the heart of the Dolomites, is a small paradise for those who seek nature, wellness and adventure. First Kneipp country in Italy, offers an innovative path for well-being between water tanks, outdoor inhalers and natural treatments. In summer it is the ideal starting point for hiking and cycling, with breathtaking views and trails for every level. The cycle path of the Val Pusteria passes right here, and every year the legendary Südtirol Dolomiti Superbike is run.
For families, Villabassa is home to one of the largest adventure playgrounds in South Tyrol, surrounded by greenery, with water games, climbing and tree house. What if the weather is uncertain? The "Haus Wassermann" Tourism Museum tells the local history in a curious and interactive way.
In winter, Villabassa is perfect for cross-country skiing (it is part of the Dolomiti NordicSki circuit) and offers easy connections to the three nearby ski areas: Dobbiaco, Plan de Corones and 3 Peaks of the Dolomites. There are trails for snowshoeing and snow hiking.
